Downtown fixture Cole Escola joins the cast of Michael Cyril Creighton's critically acclaimed web sitcom, JACK IN A BOX, which was a nominee for the 2012 Writers Guild of America Award for Outstanding Achievement in Writing Original New Media and was the winner of Best Web Series at the 2010 New York Television Festival. The series is in its fourth and final season.

Cole Escola, aka "the funny guy" (The New York Times) from "the funniest camp duo since Kiki and Herb" (New York Magazine), is best known for his television show "Jeffery & Cole Casserole" on the Logo Network which came about after a series of internet videos he created (with friend and co-writer, Jeffery Self) became popular. Solo, Cole performs regularly all over downtown NYC as various older women, himself, or some combination of the two (including his one-man nightclub act at Joe's Pub), as well as TV appearances (including his Emmy-ignored performance as a special needs teenager on Law & Order). He is the self-described "Marion Davies of YouTube."

Escola first appears in the newest episode of "Jack" called "THE STAFF MEETING." He plays Beau, a young and tricky new hire at Ticket Universe. Has Jack (Creighton) finally met his match? And who's gonna eat that last doughnut? In addition to Creighton & Escola, the episode also features returning cast members Becca Blackwell (Young Jean Lee's Untitled Feminist Show), Bruce Barton, Ann Carr ("Louie", "The Actress"), Katina Corrao ("The Good Neighbor Minute") and Andy Phelan (CSC's Galileo, MilkMilkLemonade). He will reappear throughout the season.
