Close, Davis, Lange, Krakowski and More React To Their Emmy Noms To Variety

Nominations for the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced this morning by CHICAGO and Grey's Anatomy star Chandra Wilson and The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons.

A number of theatre favorites were among the nominees announced including Glenn Close, Jessica, Ian McKellen, Elisabeth Moss.

Some of the nominees gave comment to Variety on being nominated, Lead Actress in a Drama nominee, DAMAGES star Glenn Close remarked that, "I'm really happy that in our second year, the team pulled off something the Academy saw that was worth recognizing, and I was especially happy for Rose Byrne, who is so much fun to work with. I wish the writers were nominated, though, as I wouldn't be here for the second time without the words they put in my mouth."

The NBC comedy series 30 Rock was the most-nominated show with 22 nominations, and HBO had the most nominations of any network with a total of 99. 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on September 20th on CBS-TV.
