Christina Ricci is currently in the negotiating stages of a new 1960s ABC series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Pan Am" would follow the stories of those working in the title airline, from pilots to stewardesses; Margot Robbie has been cast as one such stewardess and Michael Mosley has been cast as a pilot. There's no word yet on the details surrounding the role that Ricci would play, but the Sony Pictures TV project will be written by Jack Orman and directed by Thomas Schlamme.

Christina Ricci rose to fame as the young star of films such as The Addams Family, Casper, and Mermaids. She went on to captivate critics and audiences in such films as the Academy Award-winning Monster, The Ice Storm and The Opposite of Sex, for which she received an award from the National Board of Review and a Golden Globe nomination. She recently appeared on Broadway in Time Stands Still until its closing in January.

Michael Mosley's theatre credits include the Roundabout Theatre Company production of The Glass Menagerie and Back Back Back at Manhattan Theatre Club. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Drew Suffin on ABC's Scrubs.
