Cherry Jones, Hank Azaria, Kathryn Hahn Join NBC' Pilots

According to Deadline.com, Broadway vetereans Cherry Jones, Hank Azaria, and Kathryn Hahn will all join the cast of NBC pilots. Azaria and Hahn will co-star as PR executives in the romantic comedy 'Free Agents.' Jones is set to star as a psychiatrist in 'REM.'

Jones may be best-known for her role as President Allison Taylor on the Fox series 24, for which she won an Emmy. However, most of her career has been in the theatre on Broadway, including her Tony-winning lead performances in Lincoln Center's 1995 production of The Heiress and John Patrick Shanley's play Doubt, a role which earned her the 2005 Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Play. Other Broadway credits include Nora Ephron's play Imaginary Friends (with Swoosie Kurtz); Angels in America: Millennium Approaches and Perestroika, the 2000 revival of A Moon for the Misbegotten, and Timberlake Wertenbaker's Our Country's Good.

In 2003, Azaria he appeared in London's West End as Bernard in Sexual Perversity in Chicago, along with Matthew Perry and Minnie Driver. In 2004, Azaria began appearing as Sir Lancelot, the French Taunter, and other characters in Spamalot, the musical version of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, which opened in Chicago in December 2004 before moving to Broadway.

Hahn's screen credits include How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, A Lot Like Love, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!, The Last Mimzy, The Holiday, Revolutionary Road, Step Brothers and The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard. She recently starred in the Broadway revival of BOEING BOEING.
