Charlie Hunnam to Join Robert Pattinson, Sienna Miller in LOST CITY OF Z

According to Deadline, SONS OF ANARCHY's Charlie Hunnam has signed on to lead the upcoming film adaptation of James Gray's best-seller LOST CITY OF Z. Hunnam joins the previously cast Sienna Miller and Robert Pattison, and replaces Benedict Cumberbatch.

The book is officially described as: "In 1925, the legendary British explorer Percy Fawcett ventured into the Amazon jungle, in search of a fabled civilization. He never returned. Over the years countless perished trying to find Evidence of his party and the place he called "The Lost City of Z." In this masterpiece of narrative nonfiction, journalist David Grann interweaves the spellbinding stories of Fawcett's quest for "Z" and his own journey into the deadly jungle, as he unravels the greatest exploration mystery of the twentieth century."

Brad Pitt is producing through Plan B.

Hunnam's upcoming big screen projects include Crimson Peak, Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur and The Mountain Between Us. He previously appeared in the films Pacific Rim, Children of Men, Cold Mountain and more.
