CBS's BIG BROTHER Premieres as Wednesdays Most-Watched Program in Key Demos

BIG BROTHER premiered as Wednesday's most-watched and highest-rated program in key demographics, with year-to-year gains in adults 18-49 and adults 18-34, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for June 25.

From 8:00-9:00 PM, BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY (P) was first in viewers (6.64m), adults 25-54 (2.5/08), adults 18-49 (2.3/09) and adults 18-34 (1.7/08). Compared to last year's premiere (on the same night a year ago), BIG BROTHER was up +5% in adults 18-49 (from 2.2/08), +6% in adults 18-34 (from 1.6/06) and added +130,000 viewers (from 6.51m, +2%). BIG BROTHER was the night's top program in these measures.

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (6.05m), adults 25-54 (1.8/05) and adults 18-49 (1.5/05).
