CBS THIS MORNING was the only broadcast morning news program to post audience gains year-to-year, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Nov. 3. The week included extensive coverage from the terrorist attack in Manhattan, with Norah O'Donnell and Jeff Glor reporting from lower Manhattan.

CBS THIS MORNING was up +1% in viewers (3.52m from 3.48m) for the week when compared to the same week a year ago. At the same time, NBC was down -4%, while ABC was down -8% in viewers.

CBS THIS MORNING launched Jan. 9, 2012, and each weekday morning, Charlie Rose, Gayle King and Norah O'Donnell deliver two hours of original reporting, breaking news and top-level newsmaker interviews in an engaging and informative format that challenges the norm in network morning news programs. The broadcast has earned a prestigious Peabody Award, a Polk Award, three News & Documentary Emmys, three Daytime Emmys and the 2017 Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast. The broadcast was also honored with an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award as part of CBS News division-wide coverage of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

Ryan Kadro is the executive producer of CBS THIS MORNING and CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY.
