CBS' THE BIG BANG THEORY Soars to Over 21 Million Viewers with Live+7 Results`

CBS moved from a first-place tie with NBC in adults 18-49 during Week 10 to an outright win, according to Nielsen live plus 7-day ratings for the week ending Dec. 2.

CBS gained +0.7 of a rating point among adults 18-49, moving to a 3.3/09 from live plus same day average of 2.6/07 to finish +.3 ahead of NBC for the week.

CBS: (L+SD A18-49) 2.6; (Lift A18-49) + 0.7 = (Live +7 A18-49) 3.3

NBC: (L+SD A18-49) 2.6; (Lift A18-49 +0.4 = (Live +7 A18-49) 3.0


CBS also improved its first-place finishes in viewers (13.37m from 11.41m, +1.96m) and adults 25-54 (4.4/10 from 3.6/09, +0.8) live plus 7-day lift from live plus same day averages. CBS won the week in all categories.

Among CBS's top weekly gainers in live plus 7-day lift among viewers were THE BIG BANG THEORY (+3.82m to 21.07m), ELEMENTARY (+3.77m to 14.22m), PERSON OF INTEREST (+3.52m to 17.95m), HAWAII FIVE-0 (+3.29m to 13.59m), CRIMINAL MINDS (+3.25m to 15.61m), CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (+3.13m to 15.24m) and NCIS (+3.13m to 22.89m).

CBS programs posting the largest 7-day lift increases in adults 18-49 were THE BIG BANG THEORY (+1.9 to 7.4), CRIMINAL MINDS (+1.3 to 4.2), PERSON OF INTEREST (+1.2 to 4.1) and ELEMENTARY (+1.2 to 3.4).
