CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD posted a +15% year-to-year gain in viewers and remained the #1 Sunday morning news program with adults 25-54 and viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for July 13.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING averaged 5.38 million viewers and a 1.2/08 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to the same week a year ago, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +15% in viewers (from 4.69m) and even with adults 25-54.

Television year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +5% in viewers (5.86m from 5.57m) compared to last year.

Sunday's broadcast featured CBS SUNDAY MORNING's annual summer-themed edition, "Sunday at the Shore," and was anchored by Lee Cowan from the former home of actress Katharine Hepburn in Old Saybrook, Conn. The broadcast included Cowan's report on a special breed of fireflies in Tennessee and his look at Hepburn's life and career.

The broadcast also included Ben Tracy's profile of singer Jason Mraz; Martha Teichner's report on jellyfish; Mark Phillips' interview with actress Keira Knightley; Nancy Giles' look at the past and future of ice cream trucks; Mo Rocca's exploration of America's love of convertible cars; and Bill Geist's story about the 75th anniversary of Little League Baseball.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
