CBS SUNDAY MORNING, the nation's #1 Sunday morning news program, posted gains in viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for June 5. CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 5.85 million viewers and a 1.3/07 in adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +7% in viewers (from 5.46m) and +8% in adults 25-54 (from 1.2/07).

Television year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is the #1 Sunday morning news program, delivering 6.05 million viewers and a 1.3/07 in adults 25-54.

Sunday's broadcast was anchored by Charles Osgood and featured Lee Cowan's profile of adventurer Colin O'Brady; Anthony Mason's interview with author James Patterson; Michelle Miller's chat with actor Matthew McConaughey; Mo Rocca's look at the history of Carnegie Hall; Tracy Smith's tour of the Museum of Broken Relationships; Steve Hartman's report on a pianist who learned to play with one hand; and reports on the death of Muhammad Ali from Jim Axelrod, James Brown, Anna Werner and Tavis Smiley.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
