CBS Places First in Viewers & Key Demos for 6th Time in Seven Weeks

CBS placed first in viewers, adults 18-49 (tie) and adults 25-54 for the sixth time in the last seven week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending May 1.
The Network had five of the week's top 10 programs led by #1 THE BIG BANG THEORY. A rebroadcast of NCIS, which ranked third for the week, delivered more viewers than any program on the competition with the exception of "Dancing With the Stars." THE GOOD WIFE, which its series finale next on Sunday, had its largest audience since its October premiere. THE BIG BANG THEORY, SURVIVOR, MOM and THE ODD COUPLE all placed in the top 10 for the week among adults 18-49. With just over three weeks remaining in the season, CBS is in first place in viewers, +2.80m ahead of second place NBC (11.05m vs. 8.25m). CBS is also first in both adults 25-54 (3.1) and in adults 18-49 (2.3).
