CBS Orders Supernatural Drama from THE GOOD WIFE's Creators

CBS has picked up to pilot the the Good Wife's Robert and Michelle King's religion-themed supernatural drama Evil, according to Deadline. The pilot hails from CBS TV Studios, where King Size Productions and the couple are under an overall deal.

Evil is a series about the battle between Science and religion. It focuses on a skeptical female clinical psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a blue-collar contractor as they investigate supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and other extraordinary occurrences to see if there's a scientific explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.

The Kings wrote the series and executive produce with Liz Glotzer, president of King Size Productions.

This pilot brings the Kings back to CBS where they created and executive produced the popular legal drama The Good Wife and summer series BrainDead. The duo are also developing Girls with Guns, at CBS All Access. The pair also co-created and are executive producing The Good Wife spinoff The Good Fight.
