CBS Leads All Networks with 17 DAYTIME EMMY AWARD Wins

The CBS Television Network leads all networks with 17 wins at the "43rd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards" ceremonies this weekend. THE TALK won its first Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment Daytime Emmy Award, THE PRICE IS RIGHT was named Outstanding Game Show for the seventh time and CBS SUNDAY MORNING won Outstanding Morning Program.

Daytime's #1 drama, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, received the Outstanding Supporting Award for actress Jessica Collins and claimed five creative arts Emmy Awards, more than any other daytime drama. THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL received the Outstanding Drama Series Writing Team Emmy Award, while Obba Babatundé took home an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series.

CBS Saturday Morning's CBS DREAM TEAM, IT'S EPIC! lineup received three creative arts Emmy Awards, including THE INSPECTORS winning its first Emmy, with Jessica Lundy named Outstanding Performer in a Children's or Pre-School Children's Series.

In addition, CBS News won two honors. CBS SUNDAY MORNING won its third Emmy Award for Outstanding Morning Program. CBS THIS MORNING was recognized for Outstanding Directing in a Talk Show/Entertainment News or Morning Program.

The celebration continues today as the newly named Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment, THE TALK, hosts its Annual Daytime Emmy "After-Party" (2:00 PM, ET/1:00 PM, PT), featuring exclusive appearances from many of the night's biggest winners, including all of television's daytime dramas.
