CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY Posts Double Digits

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH Scott Pelley posted double-digit year-to-year percentage increases among viewers (6.41m from 5.78m, +11%) and households (4.3/08 from 3.9/08, +10%), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending April 5.

The CBS broadcast maintained its rating in adults 25-54 (1.4/06) - the demographic most important to those who advertise in News - compared to the same week last year. Editor's Note: The year-ago comparison represents a four-day average (Tuesday-Friday) due to NCAA basketball coverage.

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH Scott Pelley also added +630,000 viewers compared to the same week last year.
