CBS Coverage of SUPER BOWL 50 Scores 2nd-Highest Overnight Rating in History

CBS Sports' coverage of SUPER BOWL 50 featuring the DENVER BRONCOS' 24-10 win over the CAROLINA PANTHERS on Sunday, Feb. 7 (6:45-10:15 PM, ET), earned an average overnight household rating/share of 49.0/73, the second-highest-rated SUPER BOWL in the metered markets in history (as far back as records go - 1976).

The SUPER BOWL 50 household rating/share peaked at 51.0/73 from 10:00-10:15 PM, ET. Following is a breakdown of the ratings by half-hours.

6:45-7:00 - 44.6/70 8:00-8:30 - 49.8/74 9:30-10:00 - 49.9/71

7:00-7:30 - 47.3/73 8:30-9:00 - 49.9/73 10:00-10:15 - 51.0/73
