I know, I know. It's barely even appropriate to start putting up Haloween decorations, but today's "But, Wait! What's On TV Tonight?" picks are going to have a very Christmasy feel to them, as a basic cable rerun of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE welcomes its best host-musical guest combo. We will also hopefully understand why a serial killer perfers Phil Collins to Peter Gabriel, and ABC launches another Friday night, family sitcom that still won't be as good as FULL HOUSE. So, what will you be watching tonight?

BWW TV World will bring you a handful of picks from across the TV landscape. So, if you have nothing to do each night, check in with us, and we will tell you the best ways to spend your primetime hours.

Friday, October 10th

All times are Eastern

THE AMAZING RACE | 8:00-9:00pm | CBS
By: Dylan Siegman | @Dsiggy15

I've never been one to like competition shows because they make me really anxious. However, whether it's the different types of people, the locations, or the tasks on the show - I don't know what it is that makes me unable to stop watching. That being said, this is definitely a show I constantly yell at the TV during.

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE | 8:00-9:00pm | VH1

Yes, I know it is only Friday, and this episode is almost 10 months old, but when is it a bad time to watch Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake perform together? What I wouldn't give to have JT as a fulltime cast member for a season. Seriously, "Wrappinville," "(Do It On My) Twin Bed," and "Baby It's Cold Outside" with Cecily Strong were all great, but the highlight is seeing the actual Barry Gibb show up on "The Barry Gibb Talk Show." #TalkinBoutIssues

GENESIS- SUM OF THE PARTS | 8:00-9:30pm | Showtime
By: Matt Tamanini | @BWWMatt

Are you more of a Peter Gabriel guy, or Phil Collins guy? To quote Patrick Bateman (who may, or may not, be coming to Broadway soon), "I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, 'Duke.' Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on 'Duke' where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent." Now, I wasn't alive in 1980, so I have no idea what Patrick is talking about, so I think I'm gonna have to watch the documentary to find out!

CRISTELA | 8:30-9:00pm | ABC
By: Matt Tamanini | @BWWMatt

ABC's newest Friday night sitcom stars comedienne Cristela Alonzo as a recent law school grad who takes an unpaid internship at a high powered firm, much to the disappointment of her family who all live in the same house. Alonzo has always been an engaging personality, so it is nice to see her get this opportunity, however, as with most ABC Friday night comedies since STEP BY STEP and FAMILY MATTERS went off the air, I'm not expecting much!
