Brendan Fraser has officially departed the upcoming TNT pilot LEGENDS, reportedly due to "creative differences" with showrunner HOWARD GORDON. TNT is set to continue with the action drama pilot sans Fraser.

LEGENDS, originally set for NBC, centers around Martin Odum, an operative with the strange, yet remarkable ability, to transform him inself into a different person for each different job. However, his identity is questioned when a visitor believes Odum isn't who he believes himself to be. Jeffrey Nachmanoff (THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW), Jonthan Levin (CHARMED), Alexander Cary (HOMELAND,) and Gordon developed the project, initially inspired by the novel penned by Robert Littell.

LEGENDS would have marked Fraser's cable TV debut. On a brighter note, Deadline reports that FOX 21, the studio behind the project, have offered Fraser a development deal for a pilot in the future.
