Hollywood Records' rising star Bea Miller has been named Radio Disney's "NBT" (Next Big Thing) Featured Artist. The 16-year-old singer-songwriter and 2015 Radio Disney Music Award winner is the latest artist to be highlighted in the multi-platform feature program that, since 2010, has championed young developing recording artists and showcased their journey as they turn their unique talents and dreams into careers.

The "NBT" series will follow Miller behind-the-scenes as she prepares to join Fifth Harmony this summer on their "Reflection: The Summer Tour" and release her debut album, "Not An Apology," on July 24.

Radio Disney's "NBT" is presented nationally on Radio Disney, Disney Channel, RadioDisney.com, the Radio Disney app and social media platforms, and at Radio Disney events in various cities across the U.S. Featured artists are introduced throughout the year. Recent "NBT" artists include Columbia Records' Olly Murs, Island Records' Shawn Mendes and The Vamps, Kemosabe/RCA Records' Becky G, Hollywood Records' R5 and Epic Records' Fifth Harmony.

A 2008 appearance at the U.S. Open, where she sang "America the Beautiful," marked Miller's public singing debut. In 2013, after emerging as a top-10 finalist in the second season of "The X Factor," Miller was signed to Syco Music/Hollywood Records. Her hit debut single, "Young Blood," was released April 22, 2014 and charted on Radio Disney's Top 30 for 14 weeks and debuted on the Billboard 100. The strength of the single drove a #2 debut on the iTunes pop chart for her debut EP, "Young Blood." She was named one of Rolling Stone's "10 Artists You Need To Know" in February 2015, MTV's "Artist to Watch for 2015" and one of Billboard's "10 Artists to Watch in 2015."

Radio Disney is a multi-platform music brand for families and is known for introducing new artists and playing the music of many of today's most popular young artists, including Becky G, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and Shawn Mendes.
