BWW Recap: Join Us for our HEROES REBORN Finale Live Recap! 1/21 8/7c

It's the final countdown!! Tonight's the night, ladies and gents: the ultimate EVO showdown. It's make or break for brother/sister duo Tommy and Malina. They either save the world, or they fail miserably and send everyone into oblivion. No pressure, though. None at all.

The twins are not alone in their battle, though. They have the help of their fellow EVO friends, including Luke, Taylor, Ren, and everyone' favorite confused brother, Quentin!

Last week, we saw Malina create a literal fire storm, found out that Taylor is pregnant with an EVO baby, and watched Erica destroy even more lives (sorry, Matt...and your entire family...). Tonight, we find out once and for all who will come out victorious. (Psst...I'm thinkin' it's going to be the EVOs.)

8:01: Tommy's trapped in the game!

Oh, shoot. Endless hallways. Never a good sign.

8:04: Now, I don't know a lot about cults or anything like that, but this whole Gateway thing seems a whole lot like a cult or something like that.

Also, there is NO way you'd ever catch me voluntarily sitting down in a chair that has that many wires coming out of it, even if it is the end of the world.

8:12: An underground chamber monitoring EVO cognitive functions?! What kind of place is this?!

Oh, shoot, Ren! Katana Girl says she's never seen you?!

Poor Tommy, though. Trapped in that echoey, never-ending hallway with some mystery man who seems to be constantly running away from him.

8:14: Great. It's happening. Someone has to take action! Malina, go!

No, wait, not Luke! I like Luke! He's a good guy! I guess that's why he's sacrificing himself, though. He knows what he has to do, and he knows there's more for Malina to do. You go, Luke. This is why we like you.

You and your glowing, levitating, solar flare of a body. What exactly was that? I mean, I'm glad he saved everyone and stopped the flare, but...what exactly did he do...?

8:20: I forgot all about these people and their little refugee camp!

"Who are you?"

"I'm you."

"Me?"

Poor Tommy. Although he did give a better description of non-linear time than the infamous Doctor Who "wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff" explanation.

8:25: Quentin, you had one job!

Side note: I do feel really bad for Phoebe. She's just a kid, and she's been basically brainwashed by Erica. She doesn't know how to properly use her powers for good! Come on, Phoebe, listen to your brother!

Oh, shoot, Quentin! You just shot your sister!

8:32: Oh man, some great quotes are coming out of this finale. "My boyfriend's stuck inside your video game."

Come on, Ren, you had to have known you'd be the one diving in to go save Tommy! You've spent literally all of your free time unknowingly preparing for this! You can do it!

8:34: Alrighty, Malina, you got this! You take that dramatic walk with your hair flowing in the breeze and you attack that solar flare with everything you've got! And you, Ren! You take your ridiculously advanced gaming skills and you help Katana Girl rescue Tommy from the game!

And Quentin...you should probably hide because that solar flare looks mighty angry.

8:37: Holy cow! That's what happens when Tommy and Malina touch!?

8:41: Really, Tommy? You're stuck in a video game, you just finished speaking to yourself (again), and you're mostly surprised that you can speak Japanese?

Don't listen to her, Tommy! You know she's evil!

Oh shoot, he can be in two places at once!

8:46: Alright, Tommy, watch it with this "we gotta go back!" nonsense. You're starting to sounding like Jack from Lost.

They need someone willing to sacrifice themselves. Where's Luke when you need him?!

OH, ok, you work, too, Noah! Of course you'd be willing to sacrifice yourself - you're too good!

8:54: Here it is, ladies and gentlemen. The time has come. Malina, Tommy, and now Noah, all following in the footsteps of the Cheerleader.

Look, Other Tommy's busy slicing off Erica's Gateway band and messing with her entire system!

And just like that, the whole world is encased in an awesome-looking neon barrier and everyone's saved. Except for poor Noah, who dies in Malina's hands after being the conduit they needed to save the world.

Like father, like daughter.

8:57: You tell 'em, Quentin! These guys are just like everyone else, trying to do good and help the world.

Uh oh. Tarot cards. Never a good sign. Looks like the EVOs are being called to action once again.

Also, Quentin gives epic speeches.

8:59: A message?! From your father!? Oh, shoot, talk about a cliffhanger!
