In anticipation of the second season of ABC's semi-superhero comic book show, MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., one of BroadwayWorld TV's Superhero Experts, Misha Davenport has put together a declassified dossier on the S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra agents that will play a role in Season Two.

MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.File SE01 Declassified

With the events of March 2014 (file name: CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER), it became evident to various government and military agencies that the group known as Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division (aka S.H.I.E.L.D.) had been infiltrated by the terrorist group known as Hydra to the extent that the integrity of the organization, and the loyalty of every one of its agents, is now in question.

The following is the intelligence we obtained on various Agents since our last transmission of May 13, 2014 (filename SE0122, codename "Beginning of the End"):

Former S.H.I.E.L.D. Directo Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson)

Nicholas Joseph "Nick" Fury (Samuel L. Jackson)
Former S.H.I.E.L.D. Director, Agent Level 10, Level Alpha and Level Omega
Current Whereabouts: Unknown

Director Fury was believed to have been killed in the line of duty by rogue members of Hydra during the events of March 2014. Subsequent intelligence indicates that Fury is still very much alive, and has handed over S.H.I.E.L.D. directorship, and day-to-day operations, to Agent Phillip "Phil" Coulson.

Newly appointed S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg)

Agent Phillip "Phil" Coulson (Clark Gregg)
S.H.I.E.L.D. Level 8 Agent
Current Whereabouts: Unknown

Intelligence shows Coulson has been named Acting Director of what remains of the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization. Coulson's allegiances, as well as his mental state, are currently in question. Our last known surveillance of the subject showed him composing unknown, possibly alien, sketchings. This is possibly being fueled by the extraterrestrial serum GH-325 that was injecting in him shortly after the events of May 2013 (file name THE AVENGERS). Regardless, Coulson's actions bare greater scrutiny when transmission resumes Sept. 23, 2014.

S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker)

Agent Leopold "Leo" Fitz (Iain De Caestecker)
S.H.I.E.L.D. Level 5 Agent
Current Whereabouts: Unknown, potentially comatose

An engineer and weapons and technology expert, Agent Fitz was last seen in critical condition in a medically-induced coma after nearly drowning after he was betrayed by Hydra double-agent Ward May 13, 2014 (filename SE0122, codename "Beginning of the End").

Hydra Agent John Garrett (Bill Paxton)

Agent John "Clairvoyent" Garrett (Bill Paxton)
S.H.I.E.L.D. Level 8 Agent
Current Whereabouts: Deceased

A double agent rumored to be working for Hydra, Garrett was killed in combat.

Agent Victoria Hand (Saffron Burrows)

Agent Victoria Hand (Saffron Burrows)S.H.I.E.L.D. Level 8 Agent
Current Whereabouts: Deceased

A high-ranking S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, Hand was murdered by Hydra double agent Grant Ward.

Former S.H.I.E.L.D. Commander Maria Hill

Commander Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders)
S.H.I.E.L.D. Level 9 Agent (formerly)
Current Whereabouts: New York (allegedly)

Agent Hill has been decomissioned, and now allegedly works in the private sector at Stark Industries in their New York Stark Tower offices. However, we believe that she continues to communicate, and work, with several of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s rogue agents.

Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen)

Agent Melinda "The Calvalry" May (Ming-Na Wen)
S.H.I.E.L.D. Level 7 Agent
Current Whereabouts: Unknown

An ace pilot and weapons expert, Agent May is indeed a one-person army. Previous intelligence revealed that she was monitoring Agent Coulson's activities and secretly reporting them back to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s director at the time, Agent Fury. Our current sources indicate that Agent May is aware of Agent Coulson's new-found ability to write in an alien language, and will no doubt be keeping a watchful eye on him once transmissions resume Sept. 23, 2014.

Mike "Deathlok" Peterson (J. August Richards)

Mike "Deathlok" Peterson (J. August Richards)
S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Level: Civilian
Current Whereabouts: Unknown

A civilian until he was inducted into Hydra's Project Centipede and injected with the Centipede serum against his will. After losing his right leg in battle, his body was modified with bionic material and Peterson took on the persona of "Deathlok." While current intelligence suggests Peterson wants to atone for any crimes that he committed while under the sway and influence of Hydra, Peterson has yet to turn himself in and we will need to monitor him closely should he make his presence known when transmission resume on Sept. 23.

Agent "Skye" (Chloe Bennet)

Agent "Syke" (Chloe Bennet)
S.H.I.E.L.D. Level 1 Agent
Current Whereabouts: Unknown

A computer "hacktivist" turned agent, earliest intelligence has identified "Skye" (full name classified) as 0-8-4 (object of unknown origin). Given her 0-8-4 status, and the fact she was also injected with GH-325, the same, life-saving, alien serum as Agent Coulson, and we can only conclude that "Skye" could pose a substantial threat to U.S. Government interests.

Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge)

Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge)
S.H.I.E.L.D. Level 5 Agent
Current Whereabout: Unknown

A bio-chemist in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s research division, Agent Simmons was grief-stricken by the events which left her scientific partner and friend Agent Fitz in critical condition. Current intelligence indicates that she remains loyal to Director Coulson and his vision of rebuilding S.H.I.E.L.D. Her superior intellect, and knowledge of biology and chemistry, makes her a potential threat to U.S. Government interests.

Hydra double-agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton)

Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton)
S.H.I.E.L.D. Level 7 Agent
Current Whereabouts: Incarcerated at a Classified Military Prison Awaiting Trial

A special operative with superior fighting capability (Agent Simmons once remarked that Agent Ward could "rupture your spleen with [his] left pinky, blindfolded."), Agent Ward was taken into custody by U.S. Marines after the Battle of Cybertek. Intelligence has revealed that Agent Ward is a double agent working for Hydra, and that he stands accused of treason and murdering Agent Hand, in addition to countless other agents and military personnel.

A former love interest of Agent May and friend of Agent "Skye," it remains unclear where his true loyalties lay, and whether or not he can be rehabilitated.

MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. transmissions resume Sept. 23, 2014. Until then, here's a sneak preview:
