US Weekly has confirmed that super star Beyoncé will be joined on stage by members of Destiny's Child at the Super Bowl XLVII half-time show, taking place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on February 3, 2013.

According to the report, Beyoncé will open the show alone, and then "midway through her performance" she will be joined by the surviving members of Destiny's Child. The trio will perform a medley of their hits before singing a brand new song called "Nuclear." Beyoncé will then perform the finale, reported to be the debut of a new track from her upcoming solo album.

News of the group's onstage performance, their first as a trio since 2006, comes on the heels of Beyonce's announcement that Destiny's Child will release a compilation record of their best love songs from past albums. On her official web site yesterday, the Grammy winner posted, "I am so proud to announce the first original Destiny's Child music in eight years!"

Beyonce's hits include "Crazy in Love," 'Irreplaceable" and "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)." The 16-time Grammy winner crooned The National anthem at Super Bowl xxVIII in 2004 in her hometown of Houston, in which the New England Patriots defeated the Carolina Panthers.
