BREAKING BAD's Jonathan Banks Signs on for NBC's BLOODLINE
Jonathan Banks, best known as 'Mike Ehrmantraut' on AMC's BREAKING BAD, has officially signed on for NBC's upcoming pilot, BLOODLINE.
David Granziano will write drama pilot, with Peter Berg directing.
The project follows a young orphaned girl, Bird, who finds herself caught in The Middle of two families at war - both made up of mercenaries, assassins, and other sorts of murderers. In order to live a normal life, Bird must seek out the help of a mentor in order to defeat her mother, and put an end to the fighting once and for all.
Banks is set to play Bird's grandfather, Leo Killpreist, the patriarch of an ancient family of mercenaries, who's currently working to build an army to reunite his scattered clan. Killpreist, Bird's former caretaker, abandoned her as an infant.
Banks has also appeared on CBS' VEGAS and NBC's Parks and Recreation as Ben's dad.
