Anne Hathaway-Hosted SNL Encore Takes Time Period

An encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live," with host Anne Hathaway and musical guest Rihanna (3.5/9 in metered-market households) dominated its time period. The "SNL" rebroadcast scored the #1 rating of the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in metered-market households, topping all primetime telecasts on those networks.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, last night's "Saturday Night Live" averaged a 1.7 rating, 7 share in adults 18-49. The "SNL" encore delivered the top rating of the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the Local People Meters, out-rating all primetime programming on those networks.

Saturday Primetime Results:
At 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Chicago Fire" averaged a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 2.6 million viewers overall. At 9 p.m. ET, a second rebroadcast of "Chicago Fire" delivered a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 3.2 million viewers overall. Both "Chicago Hope" encores delivered NBC's highest 18-49 and total-viewer ratings in their respective time periods in four weeks (since the December 1 telecast of "It's a Wonderful Life"). The 9 p.m. "Chicago Hope" rebroadcast is #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers.

At 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," (0.8/2 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers overall) captured the show's highest 18-49 rating for a Saturday encore since November 10 and biggest overall audience on a Saturday since September 29.
