Anna Torv and Jennifer Jason Leigh Join Ryan Murphy's OPEN Pilot For HBO

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Anna Torv (Fringe) will star in Ryan Murphy's LGBT HBO pilot OPEN, alongside Jennifer Jason Leigh has her character's love interest.

Torv is set to play Windsor, a yoga instructor in a relationship with dedicated actress Holly (Leigh). Windsor, despite her long-term relationship, falls for a woman named Grace.

Also in the cast is SCOTT SPEEDMAN, whose character Jonathan is married to Grace, who has yet to be cast. Grace is a gynecologist struggling with her sexuality after an encounter with Windsor. Wes Bentley will also play Evan Foster, described as "a good-looking but arrogant guy who won't shut up when it comes to his theories about human sexuality."

This will be Torv's first TV role following five seasons on Fringe. Upcoming projects include the animated feature Heavenly Sword. Past TV credits include Mistresses, The Secret Life of Us and Young Lions.

Leigh has appeared on ABC's Revenge and Showtime's Weeds. On the big screen, she has appeared in Greenberg, Margot at the Wedding and Dolores Claiborne. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle. Her stage credits include Broadway's The House of Blue Leaves, Proof and Cabaret, as well as off-Broadway's Abigail's Party and Sunshine.
