Alexander Ludwig Joins Roland Emmerich's MIDWAY

Alexander Ludwig will join the ensemble cast of of Roland Emmerich and Lionsgate's film MIDWAY, according to Variety.
Ludwig joins a cast that includes Woody Harrelson, Patrick Wilson, Ed Skrein, Aaron Eckhart, Luke Evans, Mandy Moore, Dennis Quaid, Darren Criss, and Nick Jonas.
The film is based on the true story of the Battle of Midway, a turning point in the Pacific theater of World War II, the film chronicles the exploits of the soldiers and aviators involved in the fight.
Midway's script was written by Wes Tooke.
Ludwig's break out role was in "The Hunger Games" as Cato. He currently stars on the History series, Viking. His other film credits include "Lone Survivor" and "Grown Ups 2."
