Game show host Alex Trebek returned to the set of JEOPARDY on Tuesday for his first taping since suffering a heart attack on June 23. A spokesman for Sony Pictures Studios confirmed the news yesterday. “He is in good health and already planning home improvement projects,” the spokesman said. Sony also released a photo showing the 72 year-old on the set with the first three contestants of the upcoming season.

Prior to the mild heart attack in June, the quiz show host had suffered a heart attack in 2007. The spokesman revealed that Trebek was feeling much better after spending a full month in recuperation.

Trebek has hosted the award-winning Jeopardy! since 1984. He recently hinted that he is considering retiring from the post after he completes three decades.

JEOPARDY!'s 29th season will begin airing this fall.
