'After the Storm' Featuring James Lecesne and Gerry McIntyre Premieres 10/9 on Logo Channel

Logo channel will be showing a special airing of the documentary "After the Storm" this Saturday, October 9th at 8pm. The documentary features Broadway's own James Lecesne and Gerry McIntyre as they wrangle up locals after Hurricane Katrina to act in a production of Once on this Island.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Broadway hit makers James Lecesne and Gerry McIntyre attempt to bring hope to New Orleans through an unlikely plan: staging an elaborate production of the musical Once on this Island. Over the course of several weeks, the cast - consisting entirely of local teenagers - battles the odds to find a much-needed catharsis. Can these kids ever be hopeful again?
