BREAKING BAD's Aaron Paul has boarded the Gabriele Muccino-helmed FATHERS & DAUGHTERS, also set to star Russell Crowe and Amanda Seyfriend, according to Variety.

Crowe and Keith Rodger will executive produce the project via their Fear of God production company, along with Romilda De Luca. Andrea Leone Films will also co-produce.

The script was penned by Brad Desch and is described as "a love story between a father and daughter living 25 years apart in New York City. Crowe will take on the role of "a famous novelist and widower struggling with mental illness as he tries to raise his 5-year-old daughter. Seyfried will play the modern-day version of the daughter as she continues to struggle with "the aftermath of her troubled childhood."

Paul's TV credits include a recurring role on the HBO series Big Love. He recently starred on the AMC series Breaking Bad. The actor won two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role.

His film work includes Whatever It Takes (2000), Help! I'm a Fish (2001) (voice only), K-PAX (2001), MTV's TV Movie Wasted (2002), National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002), Perfect Opposites (2004), Bad Girls From Valley High (2005), Choking Man (2006), Mission: Impossible III (2006), and The Last House on the Left (2009). He also starred in the 2010 web-released Funny or Die short Weird: The Al Yankovic Story as "Weird Al" Yankovic. Smashed, a film in which Paul stars, will be one of the official selections for the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.
