According to The Hollywood Reporter, ARGO writer Chris Terrio has signed on to provide an update to David Goyer's scrip for Zach Snyder's upcoming film BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN. The move reteams Terrio with Ben Affleck, who is set to play Batman, opposite Henry Cavill.

Sources confirmed that Terrio was "brought in to get the script in shape before filming begins. Goyer has been tied up with a number of other DC Comics titles including Sandman."

The project brings Batman and Superman together for the first time on the big screen, along with some of the other Justice League heroes, including Wonder Woman and possibly The Flash.

Affleck will star as Batman opposite Cavill, who will reprise the role of Superman/Clark Kent. As recently reported, Gal Gadot will also play the iconic Wonder Woman. MAN OF STEEL stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane are also set to appear.

BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN will hit theaters on July 17, 2015.
