AMONG US Series Debuts Full First Episode on YouTube
The premiere episode follows two newcomers touring The Skeld as an impostor threatens the crew.
Paramount has released the full first episode of its animated series AMONG US on YouTube, giving audiences a free look at the debut installment of the ten-episode run currently streaming on Paramount+.
Based on the massively popular multiplayer video game that became a global phenomenon during the early 2020s, AMONG US centers on a crew of eccentric Crewmates aboard a spacecraft called The Skeld, where an Impostor lurks among them with increasingly deadly intentions. The premiere episode, titled "A Pizza Party Where Nothing Bad Happens," introduces two newcomers who arrive for what promises to be a cheerful tour of the vessel — only for chaos to erupt almost immediately. The series translates the game's core tension of paranoia and deduction into animated storytelling, leaning into the absurdist humor that made the source material a cultural touchstone across generations of players.
The full ten-episode first season is available to stream exclusively on Paramount+, which draws on content from a broad portfolio of networks and studios. The YouTube release of the opening episode serves as a limited co-streaming event, with on-demand access unavailable after June 11, making the window a rare opportunity to sample the series outside the subscription platform.
For readers interested in other recent streaming and stage productions touching on ensemble casts navigating high-stakes environments, BroadwayWorld previously covered the world premiere of RIGHTEOUS AMONG US at Little Fish Theatre, a new play exploring its own charged group dynamics in an intimate Redondo Beach setting.
