In the season finale of The CW's AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, models participated in their Covergirl commercial and photo shoot, where one of the women had a panic attack and was taken to the hospital.

For the first time in "Top Model" history, the women took part in a holographic runway show interacting with lifelike images and also walked in sync with the outline of their own bodies. Kelly Cutrone and Nigel Barker joined Jay Manuel and Tyra Banks on the judges' panel to choose the winner.

This cycle of the reality competition was a battle of the British all-stars versus the Americans and the British came out on top. Sophie Sumner defeated Laura LaFrate to take home the title of "America's Next Top Model." This was Sophia's second appearance in the finals. The model was a finalist on Britain's Next Top Model during its fifth cycle.
