AMC Announces Holiday Programming Lineup, 11/29-12/31

AMC, the exclusive basic cable home to The Godfather trilogy, for the next decade, will air an all-day marathon of The Godfather and The Godfather II on Thanksgiving, beginning at 11:30am ET.

In keeping with the season's spirit, the following is AMC's holiday programming:

"CAN'T GET ENOUGH" SCROOGED

Monday, November 29th - Thursday, December 2nd, at 8pm ET and 10pm ET

AMC will air a four day marathon of the 1988 Oscar nominated film Scrooged, starring Bill Murray as a man who's lost his Christmas spirit. The marathon will air twice, at 8pm ET and 10pm ET from Monday, November 29th through Thursday, December 2nd.

"CAN'T GET ENOUGH" WHITE CHRISTMAS

Saturday, December 11th and Sunday December 12th beginning at 8pm ET

AMC will present a marathon of the 1954 classic White Christmas, starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kay and Rosemary Clooney. The movie will air primetime at 8pm ET and again at 10:45 ET on both Saturday, December 11th and Sunday December 12th.

"CAN'T GET ENOUGH" MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET (original and colorized versions)

Friday, December 17th- Monday, December 20th beginning at 8pm ET

AMC will air a marathon of the Academy Award winning Christmas favorite, Miracle on 34th Street from Friday, December 17th through Monday, December 20th. The 1947 film, starring Maureen O'Hara, Natalie Wood and Edmund Gwenn as Kris Kringle, will be showing back to back each night, first in color (8pm ET) and then in black and white (10:15pm ET).

SCROOGED ON CHRISTMAS DAY

Saturday, December 25th, from 10am ET - 6am ET

Scrooged, the 1988 classic starring Bill Murray as a man who's lost his Christmas spirit, will air back to back throughout the day on December 25th beginning at 10am ET until 6am ET on Sunday.

BACK TO THE FUTURE LEADS AMC INTO 2011!

Monday, December 27th - Friday, December 31st

As a tribute to the past year and in celebration of a new one, AMC will be airing Back to the Future (1985), Back to the Future II (1989) and Back to the Future III (1990), primetime, from Monday, December 27th through Thursday, December 30th starting at 6pm ET. The marathon will continue on Friday, December 31st, all day/night from 10:30am ET to 4:00am ET.
