"Speechless": L3 = 5.2 million/1.5 rating, L7 = 5.6 million/1.7 rating and MP+35 = 2.0 rating
"Modern Family": L3 = 7.2 million/2.2 rating, L7 = 8.1 million/2.5 rating and MP+35 = 3.9 rating
"American Housewife": L3 = 5.5 million/1.6 rating, L7 = 6.0 million/1.7 rating and MP+35 = 2.3 rating
"Designated Survivor": L3 = 6.5 million/1.2 rating, L7 = 7.6 million/1.5 rating and MP+35 = 2.0 rating

ABC Wednesday Prime (8:00-11:00 p.m. - 4.4 million and 1.1/4 in AD18-49):
ABC's Wednesday night comedies all increased week to week in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49. The season's top gainer in TV Playback in Adults 18-49, "Designated Survivor" held even with its week-ago midseason return.

  • At 8:00 p.m., "The Goldbergs" grew over the previous week by 2% in Total Viewers (5.5 million vs. 5.4 million) and by 8% in Adults 18-49 (1.4/6 vs. 1.3/6).
  • At 8:30 p.m., "Speechless" rose over the prior week by 7% in viewers (4.4 million vs. 4.1 million) and 9% in young adults (1.2/5 vs. 1.1/4).
  • At 9:00 p.m., "Modern Family" gained 4% week to week in Total Viewers (5.2 million vs. 5.0 million) and 8% in Adults 18-49 (1.4/5 vs. 1.3/5).
  • In the 9:30 p.m. half-hour, ABC's "American Housewife" was up 2% from the prior week in viewers (4.2 million vs. 4.1 million) and 10% in young adults(1.1/4 vs. 1.0/4).
  • In the 10 o'clock hour, ABC's "Designated Survivor" held even with its week-earlier midseason return in Adults 18-49 (0.6/3). ABC's "Designated Survivor" is the season's No. 1 broadcast series in TV Playback, as the ABC sophomore drama shoots up +138% in Adults 18-49 from L+SD to L+7.
