ABC's THE VIEW Kicks Off First-Ever Fantasy Movie League

Are you a huge movie buff? Is your favorite sport predicting the Oscar winners? "The View" has the CONTEST for you when it kicks of its first-ever Fantasy Movie League Contest. The league was announced live today on the ABC talk show with ESPN'S senior fantasy analyst and founder of FantasyMovieLeague.com, Matthew Berry. Viewers will have the chance to play along with moderator Whoopi Goldberg and co-hosts Joy Behar, Candace Cameron Bure, Michelle Collins, Paula Faris and Raven-Symoné for the opportunity to win every movie lover's dream prize, a trip to Hollywood and tickets to attend exclusive Academy Awards events. "The View" Fantasy Movie League kicks off today, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., EST, and to have a chance to earn enough points to win the grand prize, viewers must join by Friday, December 11, 2015 at 12:00 noon, EST. The CONTEST runs for seven-consecutive weeks with final entries due by noon, EST, on Friday, January 22, 2016. Weekly prizes will also be awarded, and entrants will also have an opportunity to win through a random drawing.

Each week viewers must pick which movies they believe will earn the most at the box office, and the viewer at the top of the weekly scoreboard will win movie themed prizes, including t-shirts and gift cards. One viewer will be selected at random to win the Golden Ticket Prize, a trip for two to New York City to attend a live broadcast of "The View." And it all builds to the announcement of the Grand Prize - two roundtrip tickets to Los Angeles to sit in the bleachers on the famed red carpet at THE ACADEMY AWARDS and attend an exclusive VIP viewing party at the El Capitan Theater to watch the live Oscars broadcast on February 28, 2016.
