ABC's THE CHEW to Mark Milestone 1,000th Show, 5/5
As co-host Michael Symon would say, "THE CHEW is EN FUEGO!" Five years ago, it began as the apple of ABC's eye, and has simmered and boiled its way to a 2016 Daytime Emmy award gold, having just claimed the title for Outstanding Talk Show- Informative. Now, hotter than ever, "The Chew" marks its 1,000th show, THURSDAY, MAY 5 (1:00-2:00 p.m. EDT; check local listings), on the ABC Television Network. Filmed before an audience of the show's friends and family, the program will feature an all-star Tasting Table packed with some of the world's most amazing chefs and surprise celebrity guests all hour. The co-hosts reveal the top three most downloaded "Chew" recipes; they count down the viewers' favorite moments over the years; and artist Rock Demarco paints an amazing portrait of our co-hosts throughout the show.

"The Chew" towered over Syndicated food series RACHAEL RAY by solid double digit margins in Total Viewers (+33% - 2.8 million vs. 2.1 million) and across key Women categories (W18-49/W25-54).
