ABC's THE BACHELOR Builds To It's Most Watched Telecast Of The Season

Monday Night (2/5/18) - ABC Total Viewer and Adult 18-49 Projections
"The Bachelor": L3 = 7.9 million/2.2 rating and L7 = 8.2 million/2.3 rating
"The Good Doctor": L3 = 14.3 million/3.0 rating and L7 = 16.0 million/3.5 rating

ABC Monday Prime (8:00-11:00 p.m. - 5.9 million and 1.4/5 in AD18-49):
With "The Bachelor" hitting season highsfrom 8:00-10:00 p.m. and the return of "The Good Doctor" with an original episode at 10:00 p.m., ABC shot to the topof Monday night, beating its nearest competition by 1.9 million viewers (7.7 million vs. 5.8 million - CBS) and by 70% in Adults 18-49 (1.7/7 vs. 1.0/4 - FOX and NBC tied). In fact, the Net marked its 7th consecutive week as Monday's No. 1 broadcaster with young adults. In addition, the Net delivered a 10-week Monday highwith Total Viewers - since 11/27/17.

  • ABC claimed Monday's Top 2 TV shows in Adults 18-49 with "The Bachelor" (1.8/7) and "The Good Doctor" (1.7/7), respectively, while "The Good Doctor" also returned as the evening's most watched TV program overall (9.5 million). "The Bachelor" tallied its 4th week in a row as Monday's No. 1 TV show in Adults 18-49.

"The Bachelor" (8:00-10:00 p.m. - 6.8 million and 1.8/7 in AD18-49):
From 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "The Bachelor" continued to win its 2-hour slot, beating NBC by double digits one night after the Super Bowl(w/"The Wall" and finale for "Better Late Than Never") in Total Viewers (+13% - 6.8 million vs. 6.0 million) and Adults 18-49 (+38% - 1.8/7 vs. 1.3/5).

  • Rising week to week in viewers (+6%) and young adults (+6%), "The Bachelor" scored its most watched telecast this season and tied its season high in Adults 18-49.


"The Good Doctor" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 9.5 million and 1.7/7 in AD18-49):
In the 10 o'clock hour, ABC's "The Good Doctor" (9.5 million and 1.7/7) dominated its combined competition on CBS ("Scorpion" = 5.5 million and 0.7/3) and NBC(Olympics Special = 2.6 million and 0.6/2), leading by 1.4 million viewers and 31% in Adults 18-49.

  • "The Good Doctor" held exactly even with its last original airing two weeks ago in Adults 18-49 and grew 8% in Adults 18-34 to its highest rating since November- since 11/20/17.
