ABC's TGIT Lineup Holds Strong Against CBS' Season Premiere Thursday

Opposite CBS' premiere of its "The Big Bang Theory"/"Young Sheldon"-led schedule on the night, ABC's TGIT lineup earned second place on Thursday with Adults 18-49 (1.3/5), beating NBC by 30%(1.0/4), with a series low for the "Will & Grace" finale, and Fox's drama lineup by 44% ("Gotham"/"The Orville" = 0.9/4).
Despite the increased entertainment competition, ABC's Thursday delivery held exactly even week to week in Adults 18-49, as did "Grey's Anatomy" (1.8/7), "Scandal" (1.1/4) and "How to Get Away with Murder" (0.9/4).Projections Rationale:
