ABC's QUANTICO Gets Season 3 Order with Reduced Episodes & New Showrunner

According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC has ordered a shortened 13-episode third season of QUANTICO, starring Priyanka Chopra. Showrunner and creator Josh Safran will be exiting the series as a search for a new showrunner begins. Sources tell the site that renewal discussion had to be extended following talks to move the production from New York to Los Angeles. Additionally, they say the show was among several ABC dramas to have seen its licensing fee trimmed in order to reduce costs.
When adding in seven days of DVR, the show's sophomore season averaged 5 million total viewers and a 1.5 in the demo.
