ABC New Year's Eve Primetime (8-11pm - 9.1 million and 2.6/9 in AD18-49): With its New Year's Eve line-up, ABC finished a dominant #1 on the evening, leading its nearest competition by 44% in Total Viewers (9.1 million vs. 6.3 million - CBS) and by 53% in Adults 18-49 (2.6/9 vs. 1.7/6).

Dick Clark's News Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014 (10-11pm - 12.1 million and 3.7/13 in AD18-49): Spiking over its lead-in at 10pm, ABC's broadcast of Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014 overshadowed the final hour of the night and ranked as the #1 TV program in prime with Total Viewers and across each of the key Adult demos (AD18-34/AD18-49/AD25-54). In fact during the final hour of prime, Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve topped CBS and NBC combined by 17% in Total Viewers (12.1 million vs. 10.3 million) and by 61% in Adults 18-49 (3.7/13 vs. 2.3/8).

Head-to-head from 10-11pm, ABC's Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest towered over NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly Prime (5.8 million and 1.8/6) by 6.3 million viewers and by 106% in Adults 18-49.

The program posted ABC's highest entertainment Adult 18-49 rating in the time period in more than 2 years - since 11/22/11.

Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve attracted its 3rd-largest-ever audience, behind only the previous two record-setting years - the special premiered on the Net in 2000. The annual show was up by 5.1 million viewers and by 37% in Adults 18-49 from the last time New Year's fell on a Tuesday in 2002 (7.0 million and 2.7/10 on 12/31/02).
