ABC Music Lounge's "Nashville"-inspired docu-web series, "On the Record," is live at www.abc.com/musiclounge with the original song, "Sideshow," co-written by songwriters Aaron Scherz and Brad Turi and performed by Charles Esten as Deacon Claybourne. "Sideshow" is featured on the much anticipated soundtrack for the show, which is available today on iTunes and http://abc.go.com/music-lounge/.

"On the Record: Sideshow" goes behind the scenes with the song's co-writers, Aaron Scherz and Brad Turi. Interviews from CALLIE KHOURI (creator/executive producer), Dawn Soler (SVP of Music, ABC Studios) and Frankie Pine (music supervisor) reveal how some songs, when found, lend themselves so perfectly to the storytelling.

"'Sideshow' was one of those that came in the hundreds of thousands of songs that we heard," said Soler.

"I sent it over to the producers. They thought it would be great for Deacon," added Pine.

"In the pilot, he [Deacon] says, 'How come you never sang any of my songs?,' and she [Rayna] said, 'Cuz sometimes I just think they're all about me.' And they are, and this is one that is a perfect example," Khouri said.

The soundtrack for "Nashville," which is getting rave reviews from music critics nationwide, includes the following tracks: "Buried Under," performed by Connie Britton; "If I Didn't Know Better," performed by Sam Palladio and CLARE BOWEN; "Undermine," performed by Hayden Panettiere and Charles Esten; "Sideshow," performed by Charles Esten; "Wrong Song," performed by Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere; "No One Will Ever Love You," performed by Connie Britton and Charles Esten; "Twist of Barbwire," performed by Jonathan Jackson; "Love Like Mine," performed by Hayden Panettiere; "Telescope," performed by Lennon Stella and Maisy Stella; "When the Right One Comes Along," performed by CLARE BOWEN and Sam Palladio; and "Telescope" (Radio Remix), performed by Hayden Panettiere.

T Bone Burnett serves as executive music producer for the series. All original music is released by ABC Studios, Lionsgate and ABC Music Lounge in association with Big Machine Records.
