ABC's MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D Grows Week to Week in Total Viewers

"It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" (8:00-8:30 p.m. - 5.9 million and 2.0/7 in AD18-49):
At 8:00 p.m. against first-run programming, ABC's repeat special "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" ran in near-tie for No. 1 with CBS' "NCIS" in Adults 18-49 (2.0/7 vs. 2.1/7), while beating NBC's "Best Time Ever" by 67% (1.2/4) and doubling Fox's "Grandfathered" (+100% - 1.0/4). "Great Pumpkin" ranked No. 1 in the slot with Women 18-34 (1.4/6 - tie) and Teens 12-17 (1.1/6) and Kids 2-11 (2.0/8).
At 8:30 p.m. among Adults 18-49, ABC's repeat special "Toy Story of Terror!" (1.6/5) led by double digits over NBC's "Best Time Ever" (+33% - 1.2/4) and Fox's "The Grinder" (+78% - 0.9/3). Building on its lead-in with viewers under 18, the Disney special won the broadcast race in the slot among Teens 12-17 (1.2/6) and Kids 2-11 (2.1/9), ranking as Tuesday's No. 1 show with Kids. "Toy Story of Terror!" delivered ABC's highest Kids 2-11 rating in the time slot in more than 10 months - since 12/16/14. And the special more than doubled its half-hour for ABC year to year in Adults 18-49 (+129% vs. 0.7/2 on 10/21/14).
At 9:00 p.m., ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." grew week to week in Total Viewers (+3% - 3.8 million vs. 3.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (+7% - 1.5/4 vs. 1.4/4). "S.H.I.E.L.D." once again ran in a virtual tie with CBS' "NCIS: New Orleans" in L+SD Adults 18-49 (1.5/4 vs. 1.6/5) and will move well ahead once playback is included (see below) to rank as the No. 1 scripted show in the hour. Live + 7 Day for 9/29/15: Based on the first round of L7 for the show this season, "S.H.I.E.L.D.'s" premiere gained 1.2 rating points in Adults 18-49 (+71%), moving out of a Live +Same Day tie with "NCIS: New Orleans" (1.7 rating each) to beat the CBS drama by half a rating point after 7 days of playback (+21% - 2.9 rating vs. 2.4 rating).
