ABC's JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE Builds to Another Season High in Adults 18-49

With its late-night lineup of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" at 11:35 p.m. and "Nightline" at 12:35 a.m. during the week of June 13, 2016, ABC scored its best performance in 3 years with Adults 18-49 (911,000) and in 15 months with Total Viewers (2.401 million) - since the weeks of 6/17/13 and 3/16/15, respectively. Posting season highs in late-night, ABC was up week to week (2.293 million and 872,000, respectively, on w/o 6/6/16) by 5% in Total Viewers, while growing for the 4th straight week in Adults 18-49 (+4%).
For the 3rd week in a row, ABC was the No. 1 network in late-night in Adults 18-49, beating runner-up NBC by its largest margin of the season (+42% - 911,000 vs. 641,000). ABC was also the week's most watched network in late-night for the 4th straight week (2.401 million), outdrawing NBC by 24% (1.943 million). "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (M-F, 11:35 p.m.)During the week of June 13, 2016, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" edged out NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" to rank as the week's No. 1 late-night talk show in Adults 18-49 (+1% - 1.024 million vs. 1.012 million), while dominating by 33% among Adults 18-34 (393,000 vs. 295,000). "Kimmel" towered over CBS' "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" by double digits in Total Viewers (+18% - 2.673 million vs. 2.265 million) and Adults 18-49 (+91% - 1.024 million vs. 537,000). • "Kimmel" was up over the prior week by 4% in Adults 18-49 (1.024 million vs. 985,000) to deliver another season high and match its best performance since November 2013 - since the week of 11/18/13. "Kimmel" also grew week to week by 4% in Total Viewers (2.673 million vs. 2.575 million) to draw its 2nd-biggest audience of the season and largest since October 2015 (since the week of 10/19/15 when the show broadcasted from Brooklyn, New York).
ABC's "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.850 million), Adults 25-54 (819,000) and Adults 18-49 (681,000) for the 3rd week in a row during the week of June 13, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. For the 4th consecutive week, "Nightline" scored week-to-week increases (1.723 million, 743,000 and 645,000, respectively, on w/o 6/6/16) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+7%), Adults 25-54 (+10%) and Adults 18-49 (+6%), hitting new season highs in each measure. In fact, "Nightline" saw its largest overall audience in 1 1/2 years, best Adults 25-54 performance in 4 years, and strongest Adults 18-49 number in 3 years - since weeks of 11/24/14, 6/18/12 and 6/17/13, respectively.
