ABC's GOOD MORNING AMERICA Increases its Season Margins Over 'Today'

ABC News' "Good Morning America" ranked as the No.1 morning newscast in Total Viewers (4.546 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.533 million) for the week of July 6, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "GMA" led "Today" (4.052 million and 1.500 million, respectively) by 494,000 Total Viewers and by 33,000 Adults 25-54.
Season to date, "GMA" is the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. "GMA" is leading "Today" by 573,000 Total Viewers and by 118,000 Adults 25-54. In fact, "GMA" has increased its season margin over "Today" versus the same point last season in Adults 25-54 (+6% - 118,000 vs. 111,000). Furthermore, ranking No. 1 for the 3rd-straight season in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54, "GMA" is seeing its widest Adults 25-54 margin over "Today" in 22 years - since the 1992-93 season. During the week, "GMA" led "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+43%/+1.365 million), Adults 25-54 (+68%/+620,000) and Adults 18-49 (+60%/+395,000).
