ABC Orders Alien Invasion Drama from UNDER THE DOME Writer

ABC is partnering with UNDER THE DOME writer Soo Hugh for a new alien drama series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hugh, who also served as an executive producer on CBS' adaptation of Stephen King's novel, will work on the script for the untitled hour-long series. Two other UNDER THE DOME alums - Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank of Amblin TV - will also executive produce alongside Grady Girl Productions' Dawn Olmstead.

The series is descibed as "a race against the clock to defeat an unseen alien enemy out to destroy the world by using the Earth's most precious resource: children."
