ABC Developing SUSPECTS Crime Series Based on British Drama

Deadline reports that ABC is developing the crime drama SUSPECTS, formally known as FORGOTTEN. The show is based on the praised British series 'Unforgotten', from Chris Lang, Josh Berman, Laura Mackie, BBC Worldwide Productions and Sony Pictures TV.

Penned by Carla Kettner, the series is described as a combination of "a cop drama procedural and a multi-generational soap with a compassionate, intelligent female detective at the center."

The original series Unforgotten premiered on iTV in 2015 and has since aired for two seasons. The series centers on two London detectives, DCI Cassie Stuart (Nicola Walker) and DI Sunny Khan (Sanjeev Bhaskar), as they work together to solve cold cases involving historic disappearances and murders.
