According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jason Priestley has signed a deal with HarperCollins to write his memoir. The book is scheduled to hit shelves next spring.

"Although I've only been on the planet for 44 years, I've lived a lot in that time," commented the 90210 star. "I hope my story will enlighten, entertain, and inspire those who read it."

The actor has reportedly received a "multiple six-figure advance for the book" which will include reflections on his time on 90210 as well as the constant conflicts between himself and the series producer Aaron Spelling. He will also discuss his 2002 car accident and his stint in prison for a DUI.

Priestley is best known as the virtuous Brandon Walsh on the television series Beverly Hills, 90210 and for his current role starring as Richard "Fitz" Fitzpatrick in the show Call Me Fitz.
