CBS News' 48 HOURS: "The Accuser" (S) was Saturday's #1 program in viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Feb. 23. Broadcast at 9:00-10:00 PM, 48 Hours was first in adults 25-54 (1.3/04), the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, as well as households (3.5/06), viewers (5.15m) and adults 18-49 (1.0/03).

Saturday's broadcast featured the story of Ryan Ferguson, who is now locked up in a Missouri prison serving out a 40-year sentence for a murder of a newspaper sports editor he says he didn't commit. He was convicted on a confession that his main accuser now says was all a lie. However, despite the reversal, Ferguson remains in jail. It's a story Erin Moriarty and 48 Hours have been on for seven years.
