2015 U.S. Solheim Cup Captain Juli Inkster to Select Captain's Picks Live on Golf Channel

2015 U.S. Solheim Cup Captain Juli Inkster will announce her two captain's picks during a live, one hour Golf Central special on Monday, Aug. 24 from 7-8 p.m. ET from Golf Channel's Orlando studios. Inkster is scheduled to be joined in-studio by her captain's picks for the announcement. The Golf Central special will be hosted by Lisa Cornwell, Tom Abbott, Paige Mackenzie and Karen Stupples.

Inkster also will join Morning Drive on Tuesday morning (7-9 a.m. ET) to discuss the U.S. Solheim Cup team makeup and to unveil the U.S. team uniforms. Morning Drive will air the European Solheim Cup captain's picks announcement from Captain Carin Koch, and European Solheim Cup member Sandra Gal is scheduled to be in-studio on Tuesday.

Golf Channel will televise nearly 30 hours of live match play competition of the 2015 Solheim Cup, Sept. 18-20, from St. Leon-Rot Golf Club in Heidelberg, Germany. The three days of match play coverage will commence the moment the first pair tees off on Friday until the last putt drops on Sunday - more than 10 consecutive hours of live coverage on Friday and Saturday, and six hours on Sunday. Golf Channel also will air live coverage of the opening and closing ceremonies.
