20 Athletes Leave Everything Behind to Prove Who Is Fastest, Most Agile, And Strongest During The Premiere Of Telemundo's EXATLON

A new kind of hero comes to Telemundo on Monday, July 16 at 7pm/6c, during the premiere of the worldwide phenomenon, Exatlon. For the first time ever in the United States, the network will air the sports-reality format that pits two teams against each other to test their physical, mental and competitive skills.

Exatlon Estados Unidos, a format for the whole family, will recruit twenty participants from cities around the United States, including celebrities, Olympic medalists, world champions, and amateur athletes. Each team will be composed of five men and five women, who will need to work together to endure extreme conditions and complete daunting daily challenges in order to advance to the next level. Every week, one contestant will be eliminated until only one winner remains. The first Exatlon Estados Unidos champion will take home US $200,000 in prize money.

Experienced sports commentator Erasmo Provenza will host the intense and entertaining reality show, where he will be responsible for narrating the competition as it unfolds. Provenza has received numerous accolades for his sports reporting, including an EMMY for "Best Sports Anchor" in any language. Originally from Venezuela, he is currently in Russia as part of the Telemundo team, providing official coverage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup™. Following the tournament, he will travel to the Dominican Republic for the production of Exatlon Estados Unidos.

Also joining Exatlon Estados Unidos will be Colombian model, host and influencer Jessica Cediel, who will present highlights, updates and exclusive content for followers of the fierce competition on social media.
