Multimedia performance artist turned rapper and producer, Zebra Katz, shares his new video for recent single "Blk & Wht" (produced by Kashaka) today with NOWNESS. Directed by Ada Bligaard Søby (The Oh Sees, Ty Segall, Devendra Barnhart), the video illustrates the struggle of immigrants in search of sanctuary. Cast with refugees currently living in Denmark, the video was filmed in the forest surrounding Copenhagen. Over the course of two nights, these refugees bravely re-lived their experiences, detailing personal accounts in the hands of human traffickers while journeying from Africa, The Middle East, and throughout Europe.

In the spirit of the video's powerful message, director Ada Bligaard Søby and Zebra Katz (aka Ojay Morgan) encourage viewers to donate to Pass The Crayon, a non-profit organization that fosters self-expression through art workshops for refugee children.

Revered by Rolling Stone for his kinetic live performances, Zebra Katz is in the midst of a solo world tour and will join the Gorillaz #Humanz Tour as lead support beginning July 28ththrough the end of 2017. The tour will hit cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Miami, and many more. See below for a full date listing.

Zebra Katz first came to prominence with "Ima Read," a growled minimalist banger released by Diplo's Mad Decent imprint in 2012. The track provided the sonic backbone for a Rick Owens show at Paris Fashion Week and landed remixes from the likes of Tricky, Azealia Banks, Gangsta Boo, and Busta Rhymes. In the years that followed, he's grown and grown, releasing music through Mad Decent (namely the mental "Tear The House Up" with Hervé) and the bass-centric Helsinki label Signal Life, as well as independently through his own label ZFK Records. This year, he expanded his career into the realm of fashion with the launch of Print All Over Me (PAOM), a unisex print collection of custom-made pieces that allows artists from all over the world to upload their artwork online for a chance to be featured on backpacks, t-shirts, and more.
